Que Viva Offenbach

The megalomaniac and authoritarian director Pavel Kryjtch has to create a show to commemorate the abolition of slavery. He has the “stroke of genius” of drawing on Offenbach’s works to deliver a powerful message of peace and universal brotherhood… Unfortunately, Pavel abandons his company a few days before the performances, while the show is still unfinished. The company decides to go ahead with the performances, while hiding the disappearance of the famous director.

Que Viva Offenbach is created and performed by part of the team that, a few years ago, contributed to the well-deserved success of Patrick Haudecoeur’s show Frou Frou les Bains (2002 Molière Award for Best Musical). Diving into Offenbach’s world, this parody is a collection of comical situations.

130 years after his death, Offenbach’s spirit is still alive!
